The Sickle Cell Society are deeply saddened to hear of the recent passing of 14 year old Emmanuel who, at our AGM in 2015 and the launch of our South London Project in February, stole the show with his poems that inspired so many others living with sickle cell disease.
Emmanuel was a handsome, clever, confident, courageous and caring young man who will be dearly missed. Our deepest sympathy goes to his family. May he Rest in Peace.
