Sunday 30th May 2010 – ACS Kings and Queens in Aid of The Sickle Cell Society at Battersea Arts Centre. ACS Kings and Queens is the much talked about inter-University Beauty Pageant that will bring intelligence and positivity to the fore front of 'cultural beauty'. This event will see 16 African Caribbean students (8 male and 8 female) from 8 Universities compete to be crowned ACS King and Queen 2010.

- Sunday 6th June 2010 at 3-6pm – Annual Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving Service at Parish Church of All Souls, 3 Station Road, Harlesden, NW10 4UJ. Come and join us to pay your respects and to remember loved ones whom lost their life as a result of sickle cell disorder.
- Friday 18th June 2010 – The second World Sickle Cell Day Celebration Event hosted by Mr Trevor Phillips OBE. Invitations will be sent out to relevant parties in due course

- Sunday 11th July 2010 - The ASICS British 10K London Run which is now growing and becoming popular as the London Marathon, please visit http://www.thebritish10klondon.co.uk for further information. The Society have only 12 places available for 2010 race and we have 18 guaranteed places secured for 2011. This year our target is to raise £10,000 so please come and join our team of runners. At the end of the race each runner will receive a Finishers Medal, T- Shirt, a Goody Bag, a Certificate and will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the team at a local venue.
- Saturday 17th July 2010 from 10am to 5pm – Annual General Meeting. This is your chance to vote not only at the general elections but also at this important meeting to help shape and direct the future of The Society as well as getting an update of all that is going on in the sickle cell field.
- Saturday 17th July 2010 from 10am to 4pm - The Hoddesdon Lawn Tennis Club in Hertfordshire is hosting a Charity Tennis Tournament in aid of The Sickle Cell Society on 17th July 2010. The event is held in memory of Sophie Barnes’s brother who died from the illness over 10 years ago. Tennis Tournament starts at 10.00am till 4pm and is open to members and non members. A spread of Caribbean food courtesy of Sophie’s family will be served. Tickets costs £10 or £5 for only food. - Friday 23rd July 2010 – Liverpool Sickle Cell Support Group is hosting a Dance event in aid of The Sickle Cell Society. Programme includes disco, raffle, presentations from representatives from the support group.
