Quotes from Volunteers
“Hi my name is Stephanie Clarke. I helped deliver an IT Workshop to children with Sickle Cell. This involved teaching 7 – 9 year olds new computer skills and how to use and record their own video clips. We had a really fun day, but it was hard work. The children were Apprentices for the day and were set tasks in the Boardroom by Sir Alan Sugar-Lumps. All the children were very well behaved, enjoyed themselves and earned themselves medals and prizes for producing such good work. I was very impressed. It was a rewarding and fulfilling experience. I would definitely volunteer again.”
“Hi, I’m Brigitte Clarke. I have been doing voluntary work for the Society for over 18 months now. I have been involved in a range of activities from delivering presentations at events to fundraising. There is such a wide range of opportunities to be involved in and the staffs are very friendly.”
