If you are not sure what to put in your description, we have created a few suggestions below:

“For my birthday this year, I’m asking for donations to Sickle Cell Society UK. I’ve chosen this charity because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope that you’ll consider contributing as a way of celebrating with me. Every little bit will help me reach my goal. I’ve included information about Sickle Cell Society UK below.

The Sickle Cell Society is the only national charity in the UK that supports and represents people affected by a sickle cell disorder to improve their overall quality of life. First set up as a registered charity in 1979, the Sickle Cell Society has been working alongside health care professionals, parents, and people living with sickle cell to raise awareness of the disorder. The Society’s aim is to support those living with sickle cell, empowering them to achieve their full potential.

Facebook pays all the processing fees for you, so 100% of your donation goes directly to support the Sickle Cell Society.”
