Are you a parent of a child with sickle cell disease? We want your feedback!

The Sickle Cell Society would like parents who were told their newborn baby or older child has sickle cell to feedback on the publication ‘A Parent’s Guide to Managing Sickle Cell Disease’.

‘A Parent’s Guide to Managing Sickle Cell Disease’ gives detailed information to help parents, families and carers understand the condition in order to look after their child, keep them well and prevent complications.

The Sickle Cell Society in collaboration with Brent Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Centre are planning to produce an updated edition of the guide and would like to hear from parents how it can be improved and /or what additional information you might like to see in the book.
