Working from Home – Sickle Cell Society Office Closure

Working from Home

In light of the guidance surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19), the Sickle Cell Society has made the unprecedented decision to close our offices and continue our work from home.

This decision has been made in the best interest of protecting the health and wellbeing of staff, volunteers, service users and stakeholders.

We aim to continue to provide our services as best as possible with staff working from home. Please be patient with any delayed responses during this time as we aim to respond as quickly as possible.

The best way to contact us over this period is via email and a full list of emails are provided here: www.sicklecellsociety.org/contact-details/  We are also re-directing calls from the office and staff numbers are also included in the above link.

If you are worried about coronavirus and how to keep safe please see our article detailing the most up-to-date advice and guidance: www.sicklecellsociety.org/coronavirus-and-scd/ We aim to update this article as and when we get new information.

Naturally we will continue to review the situation and will keep our staff, volunteers, service users and stakeholders informed.
